REQUIREMENTS

• Organizational skills, communication abilities, flexibility, teamwork skills, and an interest in personal development and growth
• At least a general knowledge of the activities of the BK association – bludnykamen.cz/o-nas
• An interest in contemporary art or a willingness to engage with contemporary art
• Familiarity with culture and an understanding of how cultural organizations operate

WE OFFER

• The opportunity to participate in the activities of the association and gallery, which has a 30-year history
• Hands-on experience with the administration of a nonprofit organization (projects, grants, etc.)
• Experience in PR, media communication, and preparation of press releases
• The chance to be involved in decision-making and activity planning for the association
• The opportunity to design your own project or take responsibility for an ongoing project
• Depending on the work delivered, a small financial reward

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Grant management and overseeing the formal correctness of grant utilization – administrative work
• Fundraising – approaching partners/sponsors, etc.
• PR and communication – media relations, sending press releases, PR strategy, etc.
• Social media management – Facebook, Instagram
• Production work – communication with artists, coordination with suppliers, etc.

This is primarily a volunteer position, suitable for gaining hands-on experience in an organization with a long tradition and in collaboration with experts in exhibition curation, cultural production, and music promotion. We are a small team and need better distribution of tasks. At the same time, we welcome input from people who can bring fresh perspectives on contemporary culture and use their knowledge to help us move forward.
