Podtitul a bližší informace o akci: Nahrávka koncertu Petra a Mario ze 4. října 2014 z festivalu Hear Me konaném v galerii Plato v Ostravě je základem zvukové instalace, která bude představena na scéně Art Space Flipside v Eidhovenu a to v období od 20.9.do 11.10. 2015. Mezi stěnami galerie budou nataženy dvě dlouhé struny. Struny budou ještě ozvučeny. U stěny na každém konci struny bude upevněn tzv. tělo-třas. Toto zařízení reprodukuje zvukové frekvence ne ve formě zvuku, ale jako různé vibrace. MP3 přehrávač bude po celou dobu přehrávat nahrávku koncertu v galerii Plato v Ostravě. Zvuky budou reprodukovány tělo-třasy, které rozechvějí struny. Zvuková aparatura bude reprodukovat chvění strun, což uslyší obecenstvo. Během prezentace této instalace budou vystavovány jiné práce s rozdílným tématem od dalších umělců.
Originální zvuky z Ostravy budou napřed přefiltrovány umístěním a kvalitou nahrávacího zařízení a poté počítačem. Dále bude následovat filtrace úrovní kvality mp3 přehrávače, zvukovým rozhraním tělo-třasů, délkou strun, zvukovým zabarvením zesilovače a v poslední řadě také akustikou galerie. Výsledný zvuk bude zaznamenán na videozáznamu společně s dalšími vizuálními exponáty umístěnými v galerii.

The recording of the concert of Petra and Mario from october 4th 2014 from the Hear Me Festival at Plato, Ostrava is the basis for a sound installation that will be presented at Art Space Flipside, Eindhoven from September 20th until at least october 11th 2015. Two long strings will be tensed between the walls of the gallery. The strings will be amplified. Near the wall on each string, a so called body shaker will be attached. This reproduces sound frequencies not as sound but as variable vibrations. An mp3-player will continuously play the recording of the concert at Plato in Ostrava. The sounds will be reproduced by the body shakers, that make the long strings vibrate. The amplification will make this hearable. During the installation’s presence at Flipside Gallery there will be other works from other artists and with another theme.
The original sounds from Ostrava are first filtered by position and quality of the recording device; then by the computer; the mp3-player’s quality; the sonic range of the body shakers; the length of the strings; the soundcolor of the amplification; and at last the acoustics of the gallery. We will make a video of the sounding result, with a visual impression of the other works in the gallery.
