In the Cella Gallery and Hovorny, we present a series of exhibitions featuring prominent Czech curators. The final exhibition of this year was prepared by curator Anežka Chalupová, who collaborated with artist Kristina Fingerland.

Kristina Fingerland is a visual artist working at the intersection of illustration, object, performance, authorial text, and installation. She graduated from the Illustration Studio at UMPRUM in Prague. During her studies, she participated in an internship in the Sculpture Studio there and briefly studied in the Painting Studio III at the Academy of Fine Arts. She has showcased her work in solo and group exhibitions, including venues such as GAMPA, Pardubice (Mlýnský ostrov. MølleØy, 2023), Display, Prague (Not Only Nuclear Family: Recipes for Happiness, 2022), Kostka Gallery at MeetFactory, Prague (Dvorní asistentka velké sestry Miry, 2022), Jelení Gallery, Prague (Zprávy z Oikos: Alma, Diamon, melogové a gulmy, 2021), Dukla Gallery, Ostrava (Mlazí, 2021), and Entrance Gallery, Prague (Softshell, 2020). During her studies, she also created several authorial books, including Post Mortem and Oikos. In the exhibition at Bludný kámen, the artist will present her latest watercolor paintings on paper in combination with textiles.

Anežka Chalupová is associated with the hunt kastner gallery in Prague and the 8smička art zone in Humpolec. Together with Sim Binko and Šárka Havlíková, she co-founded Saloon Praha in 2020, a platform for women professionally engaged in the art scene. As a curator, she has prepared exhibitions such as “Ruka na konci ramene: (Spolu)práce v českém a slovenském umění” (8smička, with Ondřej Horák), “Místa chvění: Zvuk jako médium” (8smička, with Jakub Frank), and most recently the exhibition of Jindřiška Jabůrková: Endless Flow (hunt kastner, with Vítem Novák). In Humpolec’s 8smička, she is the curator of the Graphic Cabinet (featuring artists like Inge Kosková, Lenka Falušiová, Olaf Hanel) and the shop window gallery 8smička Light (featuring artists like Matěj Frank, Sára Skoczková, Tereza Bonaventurová).
