Komentář: Akce obsahuje 4 samostatné příspěvky k výzvě Bludného kamene sestavené do koncertu v rámci platformy Wakushoppu.

Opening Performance Orchestra přizvali ke spolupráci básníka, hudebníka a výtvarníka Pavla Z, který bude hlavním protagonistou skladby Vteřina a věčnost speciálně připravené pro tuto akci. Skladba dostala svůj název podle sbírky textů filosofického vizionáře Ladislava Klímy. Excerpta z Klímových filozofických úvah vybere a svým osobitým způsobem přednese Pavel Z. Ústředním tématem skladby je čas a jeho pomíjivost, relativita, věčnost a na druhé straně jeho nekonečné plynutí. „Dílo, které bych si přál zanechat, by bylo Definitivum, v němž bylo by zahrnuto vše mé a Mé a Vše. A v němž by vůbec nebylo ‚vteřin‘ ––: je hanebno, zabývat se čímkoli dočasným a pozemským; a vše, co není Věčnost, jest jen vteřina…“ (Ladislav Klíma, Vteřina a věčnost, 1927)

Phaerentz. Smyčkové prostředí, které se neopakuje a nekončí. Každé provedení je jen výsekem možných konstelací. Dvacet stop dvaceti kamenů zabloudivších ze svého přirozeného prostředí k mikrofonům. Věnováno Bludnému kameni.

Milan Guštar. „Co jest tedy čas? Když nikdo se mne naň netáže, vím to; když tážícímu chci to vysvětliti, nevím.“ (Svatého Augustina Vyznání kněh třináctero, AD 397-398). Generativní kompozice vycházející z číselných vztahů časových jednotek a čísla 20 jako odkazu k tématu projektu Time (20 years BK).

Skladbu Im Gegenzug od Wernera Duranda, který v roce 2013 spolu s Amelií Cuni hostoval na Minimaratonu elektronické hudby pořádaném v rámci festivalu soudobé hudby Ostravské dny, uvede v živém mixu Opening Performance Orchestra. Ústřední motiv skladby nahrál Werner Durand při jízdě vlakem domů z Ostravy do Berlína přes polské území. „Im Gegenzug patří ke skladbám, které jsem v posledních dvou letech realizoval v řadě Acosmetics a zčásti pod názvem Phonosphere spolu s Jensem Strüverem. Skladba se velmi úzce váže ke koncertu na Ostravských dnech 2013, kde jsem spolu s Amelií Cuni uvedl naši skladbu HMN (Hiss-mastered Noise). Na zpáteční cestě jsme jeli vlakem z Ostravy do Krakova. Kousek před Katovicemi jel vlak na velmi staré trati, a proto velice pomalu. Po určité době jsem začal vědomě vnímat rytmus pražců, dalším podnětem pak bylo udělat s pomocí počítače nahrávku. V kupé jsme byli úplně sami, a tak to bylo možné bez nežádoucích ruchů. Nahrávka trvala asi 20 minut, poté vlak se skřípajícími brzdami zastavil v Katovicích. Nahrávka jízdy vlakem ve mně vyvolala určité pocity nostalgie po staré střední Evropě, ale také po starých bluesových nahrávkách. Kompozice obsahuje úryvky z jednoho kusu rumunské zpěvačky Romicy Puceanu, úvod cooljazzového kusu s názvem Isn’t it Romantic Shortyho Rogerse a replika kompozice Oceans amerického skladatele Roberta Ericksona pro trumpetu a gongy. Part na trubku zazní v podání Jacka Logana, perkuse pak obstaral Robert Erickson. Se zvláštním poděkováním Petru Studenému, Martinu Klimešovi a Ostravským dnům – Vám je tato skladba věnována.“ (Werner Durand, červen 2015, Berlín)

Comment: The activity contains 4 reactions to the appeal of Bludný kámen incorporated into a concert as part of Wakushopp platform.

Opening Performance Orchestra started their cooperation with the poet, musician and visual artist Pavel Z, who will be the main protagonist of the composition A Second and Eternity composed especially for this event. The composition acquired its name based on the collection of texts by philosophical visionary Ladislav Klíma. The excerpts of Klíma´s philosophical contemplations will be chosen and recited by Pavel Z in his own personal way. The main theme of the composition is time and its evanescence, relativity, eternity opposed to its everlasting passing. “The work which I would like to leave behind me would be all-comprising and definite volume where all that was mine and my that was all would be comprised. And there would be no ´seconds´ — : it is shameful to deal with anything temporary or earthly; and all which is not Eternity, is merely a second…” (Ladislav Klíma, A Second and Eternity, 1927)

Phaerentz, Looping environment which is never repated and is neverending. Each realisation is only a section of all possible constellations. Twenty feet of twenty stones strayed from its natural environment to the microphones. Dedicated to Bludný kámen.

Milan Guštar. “What is the time then? When nobody is asking I can tell. When I am asked, I don´t know. “ (The Confessions of Saint Augustine – its thirteen volumes, AD 397-398). The generative composition based on the numerological relations of time units and the number 20 as linked to the project theme (20 years of Bludný Kámen).

The composition Im Gegenzug by Werner Durand will be performed in live mix by Opening Performance Orchestra. Werner Durand was a guest together with Amelia Cuniat Minimarathon of electronic music held as a part of Ostrava festival of contemporary music called Days of Ostrava. The main motif of the composition was recorded by Werner Durand during his journey from Ostrava to Berlin through the Polish territory. “Im Gegezug is one of the compositions which I have recently realised in the series of Acosmetics and partly under the name of Phonosphere together with Jensen Strüver. The composition is very closely tied with to the concert at Days of Ostrava in 2013 where we performed together with Amelia Cuni our composition HMN (Hiss-masterd Moise). On our way back we went by train from Ostrava to Cracovia. Short way before Katowice the train went on a very old track and it is why its motion was extremely slow. After certain time I started to perceive the rhythm of the particular rail frets and another incentive was to make a computer recording of these sounds. We were alone in the train compartment and therefore the recording could be made without any disturbances. The recording lasted about 20 minutes and then the train stopped in Katowice with the sound of screeching brakes. The recording of the train passage inspired in me the feelings of melancholy and homesickness for the old Central Europe and also the old blues recordings. The composition contains parts of one piece by a Romanian singer Romica Puceanu, the introduction to the cooljazz piece named Isn´t it Romantic by Shorty Rogers and a replica of the composition Oceans by the American composer Robert Erickson for trumpets and gongs. The trumpet part will be given by Jack Logan, percussions were played by Robert Erickson. With special thanks to Petr Studený, Martin Klimeš and Days of Ostrava, this composition is dedicated to You.
